  1. By signing up to Age UKs Volunteering Hub you are agreeing to receive information by email and telephone about volunteering from Age UK and our network of local Age UK, Age Cymru, Age Scotland and Age Northern Ireland organisations.


  2. Age UK may use your information in several ways, including:


    1. To assess your suitability for volunteering, including taking up references and to perform appropriate security checks.

    2. To administer and manage volunteering activities.

    3. To record activities, you undertake on our behalf.

    4. To monitor and analyse recruitment and volunteering trends.

    5. To contact you about your volunteer role.

    6. To reimburse expenses you may have incurred as a volunteer.

    7. To create a general profile for you on our supporter database 'CRM'.

    8. For Internal record keeping relating to and donations, feedback or complaints.

    9. To provide you, as a volunteer with the information you may need to know about our work or our activities.

    10. To analyse and improve the content and operation of our 'Volunteering Hub'.

    11. To invite you to participate in voluntary surveys or research.

    12. Where we are required by law to disclose or otherwise use your information.

  1. Age UK may share your information with the relevant organisation from our network of local Age UK, Age Cymru, Age Scotland and Age Northern Ireland organisations expressly for the purpose of processing your application and managing your volunteering. Outside of this Age UK generally will not share your personal information with other third parties, except with your consent or where or we have another legal basis to do so. For instance, we may disclose your personal information where we are requested or required to do so by a regulator or a law enforcement agency.
