The role in a nutshell:
Share your time in one of our volunteer roles, either directly supporting or contributing to our organisation’s work with and for the older people who need us most. We’ll share with you the volunteer roles currently available and you can select which one best matches how you’d like to give your time.What will you be doing?
Depending on the volunteer role you select, you may become a befriender, a charity shop volunteer, an information & advice volunteer, a wellbeing or activity leader, an administrative volunteer, a home from hospital driver, a dementia respite assistant, a digital inclusion champion or one of many other volunteer roles with our organisation.
How would you be supported in this role?
In addition to providing you any relevant training for the role, we will also provide you with check-ins, a key contact or other functions to ensure you are best supported as a volunteer.
Why do we need volunteers in this role?
Our organisation involves volunteers in the delivery of our services and operations to help us reach as many older people in need of our services as possible. The time and talents volunteers offer play a vital role in the successful delivery of our charity’s mission.
