The role in a nutshell:
To provide a friendly atmosphere for older people to meet together and enjoy each other’s companyWhat will you be doing?
- To provide assistance with domestic tasks such as tea and coffee making, dish washing, etc. Help with organizing games and mixing with the members.
- To provide a friendly face and helping hand to the members
- To assist other volunteers in preparing the club for the day and leaving it clean and orderly at the completion of the day
- To verbally report any concerns about any issues with the members to the Club coordinator.
- To attend any induction sessions, Volunteer meetings and training as required.
- To participate in gatherings for the support and benefit of volunteers
How would you be supported in this role?
You will be supported by the Community Support Club Coordinator
