The role in a nutshell:

Share your time in one of our volunteer roles, either directly supporting or contributing to Age UK Sunderland’s work with and for the older people who need us most. We’ll share with you the volunteer roles currently available and you can select which one best matches how you’d like to give your time.

What will you be doing?

Depending on the volunteer role you select, you may become a:

> Advocacy Volunteer
> Admin Volunteer (Various projects)

> Dial-a-Driver - Volunteer Driver

> Day Centre Helper
> Day Club Leader
> Day Clubs Helper

> Essence Service Helper
> Essence Service Volunteer

> KIT Friendly Faces (Befriender) Volunteer
> Telephone Service (Befriender) Volunteer
 

How would you be supported in this role?

In addition to providing you any relevant training for the role, we will also provide you with check-ins, a key contact or other functions to ensure you are best supported as a volunteer.

Why do we need volunteers in this role?

Age UK Sunderland involves volunteers in the delivery of our services and operations to help us reach as many older people in need of our services as possible. The time and talents volunteers offer play a vital role in the successful delivery of our charity’s mission.
