Enfield - Flyer Distributer

Ongoing

Our roles operate across the London Borough of Enfield

The role in a nutshell:

Help promote Age UK Enfield services and events by distributing flyers and posters in local community spaces. You’ll raise awareness and act as a friendly face for the organisation in your local area.

What will you be doing?

You will:

> Deliver flyers and posters to community spaces such as libraries, GP surgeries, shops, cafes, and community centres
> Engage politely and positively with members of the public
> Answer basic questions about Age UK Enfield (guidance will be provided)
> Keep a simple log of where you’ve delivered materials and the quantities used
> Report back to your supervisor with any updates, feedback, or observations from the community

How would you be supported in this role?

You will be supported by the Volunteer Coordinator, who will provide clear guidance, information, and resources to help you carry out the role. You’ll be given an induction and all the materials you need, along with answers to common questions you may be asked.

You’ll also be able to check in with your supervisor for advice or to share updates. Regular communication will ensure you feel confident and supported throughout your volunteering.

Why do we need volunteers in this role?

Age UK Enfield offers many services for older people, but not everyone knows what’s available. By distributing flyers in local spaces such as libraries, shops, GP surgeries, cafes, and community centres, volunteers help make our information visible and accessible. This role is vital in raising awareness, encouraging engagement, and connecting more people to our services and events.
