The role in a nutshell:

Share your time in one of our volunteer roles, either directly supporting or contributing to our organisation’s work with and for the older people who need us most. We’ll share with you the volunteer roles currently available and you can select which one best matches how you’d like to give your time.

What will you be doing?

Depending on the volunteer role you select, you may become a:
 
  • Befriender - Telephone or Home Visiting
  • Dementia Befriender - Telephone or Home Visiting
  • Form Filler
  • Hospital Aftercare - Shopper and Companions
  • Information & Advice - Admin or Advisor
  • Peer and Social Groups - in both Bromley and Greenwich.

How would you be supported in this role?

In addition to providing you any relevant training for the role, we will also provide you with check-ins, a key contact to ensure you are best supported as a volunteer.

Why do we need volunteers in this role?

Volunteers are the backbone of our charity, supporting our services and give us vital feedback to ensure we reach as many older people in Bromley and Greenwich.
