This role is based at our head office.

The role in a nutshell:

You’ll be at the heart of our efforts to raise awareness about our work for older people and supporting sales through our Retail Stores.

What will you be doing?

• Listing Items: Photograph and describe items accurately for eBay listings

• Stock Management: Organise and manage inventory to ensure items are ready for listing 

• Pricing: ensuring our prices are competitive 

• Customer Service: Respond to email inquiries from potential buyers 

• Shipping: Prepare and ship sold items promptly and efficiently

How would you be supported in this role?

• We will make sure that you receive appropriate training for the role and that you have the support of a member of staff

• We offer a range of benefits to our volunteers and will also cover agreed out-of-pocket expenses

As part of the recruitment process, this role is subject to the provision of two satisfactory references.

What skills, interests or experience might be helpful in this role?

• Basic knowledge of eBay and online selling platforms 

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail 

• Ability to take clear photographs and write accurate descriptions 

• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and online payment systems 

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude
