The role in a nutshell:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver’s Mate (you don’t need a driving licence) to support our retail shops by providing essential transportation services.

What will you be doing?

• Transportation of Goods: Safely transport goods and supplies between our retail shops, warehouse, and other locations as needed. This includes loading and unloading items, ensuring they are securely stowed during transit
• Customer Service: Provide friendly and courteous service to all customers and staff, acting as a representative of our Charity and maintaining a positive image
• Compliance: Adhere to all organisational policies, including, lone working, health and safety regulations

How would you be supported in this role?

• We will make sure that you receive appropriate training for the role and that you have the support of a member of staff
• We offer a range of benefits to our volunteers and will also cover agreed out-of-pocket expenses
