The role in a nutshell:
We are looking for volunteers to join the Older People’s Engagement group who: Enjoy talking to older people Want to help improve our services for older people Are interested in helping us listWhat will you be doing?
Activities and support that the group provides include:
• Connecting with Services
• Gathering Feedback
• Helping with recruitment
• Offering an older person’s voice in decision making
How would you be supported in this role?
All Age UK Leeds volunteers are offered a full induction. Volunteers also
have access to training, briefings and opportunities to participate in social
events. Age UK Leeds will provide specific training on Safeguarding,
Professional Boundaries and anything else relevant to the role.
All agreed out of pocket expenses such as travel costs will
be met by Age UK Leeds.

Why do we need volunteers in this role?
Additional information:
If necessary for the role being undertaken, a full DBS will be completed, which we will organise, and references received before commencement
