The role in a nutshell:

Are you interested in gaining experience in E-Commerce while making a difference in the lives of older people in Sheffield? Age UK Sheffield is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support our growing Vinted shop. Our online store helps raise crucial funds to provide services, information, and support to people aged 50 and over in Sheffield.

What will you be doing?

· hanging, steaming and moving stock for Vinted

· packing sold items

How would you be supported in this role?

Ongoing training and support is provided.

Age UK Sheffield relies on volunteers of all ages and from all walks of life to help us in our vital work. You can be at the heart of making Sheffield a better place to grow older.

Additional information:

This role is available on Tuesdays, 9am to 5pm.

Expect 2 to 4 weeks from application to volunteer placement.

Travel expenses can be reimbursed.

What skills, interests or experience might be helpful in this role?

· Friendly, approachable and professional manner 

· careful/mindful about health and safety

· Reliable and flexible approach to the role 

· Previous retail experience would be a bonus but not essential
