This role is based at the Townfield Community Centre.

The role in a nutshell:

Join us as an Information and Advice Volunteer. You will be an essential source ofsupport for individuals in need, providing clear and accurate information on a variety of topics.

In addition to providing excellent customer service you will be assisting people to understand their options, enabling them to make informed decisions, and directing them to relevant services and resources. Your efforts will be crucial in supporting our mission and objectives!

What will you be doing?

-Offering a warm welcome to clients and listening to their concerns
-Providing clear and accurate information on a range of topics
-Helping clients understand their options and make informed decisions
-Signposting to relevant services and resources
-Keeping up-to-date with the latest information to ensure the best advice is  given
-Working with a fantastic team of volunteers and staff to make a real  difference

How would you be supported in this role?

-We will make sure that you receive appropriate training for the role and that  you have the support of a member of staff

-We offer a range of benefits to our volunteers and will also cover agreed out-  of-pocket expenses

As part of the recruitment process, this position requires a DBS check and two satisfactory references.
